Nobody
In a world obsessed with self-promotion and self-worship, I chose a different path.
I am Jonathan Cilia, and by silencing the ego, I became NOBODY — a man, an artist, a voice in service of something greater.
NOBODY is an Italian-American opera singer, producer, and performer whose journey was never built on marketing, hype, or self-promotion, but on truth, discipline, and collaboration. By choosing to learn instead of advertise, to listen instead of shout, NOBODY grew — not only as an artist, but as a human being.
Rising independently through the entertainment world, NOBODY has shared stages and created music with legendary and genre-defying artists, including Julio Iglesias Jr., who described him as “the most powerful and passionate living voice,” as well as Alan Parsons Project, Desmond Child, Sergio Cammariere, Gianna Nannini, Marco Masini, Marc Martel, Michael W. Smith, Arisa, Pitingo, Rudi Perez, Jêsus Molina, Annalisa Minetti, Neri Per Caso, Francesco Baccini, Mattia Bazaar, Marcel Pavel, Monica Anghel, and many others across opera, pop, rock, Latin, and symphonic music.
He made history as the first Italian vocalist to be a special guest at the LA MUSA Latino Awards, proving that authenticity travels further than algorithms.
NOBODY’s voice transcends labels.
Each performance is an encounter — where opera, symphonic rock, and raw human emotion collide.
This is not a brand.
This is not ego.
This is purpose.
NOBODY | Italian-American Opera Singer, Vocalist, Producer & Performer
NOBODY, born Jonathan Cilia in Sicily, is an Italian-American opera singer, tenor, producer, and multidisciplinary artist whose music carries meaning beyond sound. His work is guided by a singular belief: true artistry lives between the lines, waiting for those willing to listen deeply.
Discovered at the age of nine while studying accordion and piano, NOBODY’s extraordinary potential was first recognized during a music lesson that revealed not just talent, but an uncommon emotional intelligence. That same year, hearing Luciano Pavarotti’s La Bohème ignited a lifelong devotion to opera and vocal expression.
He trained under renowned teachers Gianna Buniato and Nicola Martinucci, building a foundation rooted in classical discipline, spiritual awareness, and respect for music as a living language. At just sixteen, NOBODY became the youngest tenor to join the Polyphonic Pentagram Choir under Maestro Peppe Arezzo, marking the beginning of an international journey.
Albums, Career & International Success
After relocating to Milan, NOBODY recorded his debut album Always Close to Me, which sold over 500,000 copies in six years. His second album, Rinasci, followed military service and explored themes of rebirth and resilience. A global gospel tour led to Symphony for Heaven, while recordings in Canada produced When Inspiration Becomes Music and From the Darkness to the Light.
Returning to Italy, he released Part of Me before shifting focus to composing and arranging, resulting in If There Is Life, There Is Magic and A Plan That I’m Going. These works quietly invite listeners to discover the hidden message within the music—a signature of NOBODY’s artistic identity.
Collaborations & Recognition
NOBODY has collaborated with internationally acclaimed artists including Julio Iglesias Jr.—who called him “the most powerful and passionate living voice”—as well as Alan Parsons, Marc Martel, Michael W. Smith, Mari Burelle, Jesús Molina, and many others.
He made history as the first Italian vocalist to be a special guest at the LA MUSA Latino Awards.
His recent projects include the EP Forte with Marc Martel, Opera 11 Live, and An Italian Christmas, produced in collaboration with Stradavari Classic and Hindsight Records.
Live Performances & Repertoire
NOBODY’s live performances blend opera, symphonic rock, classical crossover, and raw emotional storytelling. His repertoire spans works by Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Frank Sinatra, Luciano Pavarotti, Julio Iglesias, and Charles Aznavour. Each performance is crafted as a journey—designed not only to be heard, but to be understood.
Humanitarian Work & Purpose
Beyond music, NOBODY is deeply committed to humanitarian work. Since 2000, he has supported educational and charitable initiatives worldwide, including projects in India, Pakistan, Madagascar, and collaborations with Make-A-Wish Foundation, St. Jude Hospital, ChildFund, Men of Valor, and the Knight Templars. He has been honored by the Catholic University of Rome and nominated as a Cavalier of the Knight Templar of Jerusalem.
Film & Artistic Vision
His artistic vision extends into cinema. His award-winning short film The Mask of Love has received 16 international awards, reflecting the same philosophy found in his music: meaning reveals itself only to those who look beyond the surface.
NOBODY is not a brand. Not a persona. Not an ego.
He is a voice shaped by faith, discipline, collaboration, and lived experience.
For those willing to slow down, listen carefully, and feel deeply—
the magic is already there, between the lines.
